In direct contrast to my last post, I would like to present y'all with my personal pick in the Summer 2010 Sunglasses category. Dita Eyewear offers both sun and optical glasses with designs that are essentially the answer to all of my eyewear prayers. The variety of styles have a definite vintage inspiration spanning from the 1950's through to the 1980s. The catch is that Dita has found a way to geniously combine this vintage inspiration with contemporary materials, shapes and designs...a total win-win combination in my perspective. To seal the deal even further (and to establish themselves as the antithesis of those flashy Versace-and-such sunglasses), Dita's logo details are designed in an intentionally subtle manner to highlight the beautiful frames as the focal point of the look as well as to avoid coercing the wearer into being a walking ambassador for Tacky R' Us.
