Sometimes Less is More, Trust.

Why do so many people feel the need to a) get a tatoo of, or b) decal their fake nails - with graphics that "mean something to them?" I also like a lot of things: fashion, travel, my dog etc. - but you don't see me getting a tatoo of an overly-styled St. Bernard in Rome now do you?
As for the fake nails situation, I am all for cheering for your own country when it comes to national events such as the Olympics - however there is no need to get red maple leafs airbrushed onto every fingernail to overstate your patriotism to the world; measures such as these appear to be simply tasteless in my eyes. The moral of this daily lesson is to embrace your personal freedom but remember that sometimes less truly is more.
