Myth #1: Never wear Navy and black together.
Are you kidding me? I am a major proponent for wearing navy as a complementary colour to black - especially if the navy or black piece has some sort of coloured detailing or hardware to balance out the look. A tip to keep in mind is to opt for a lighter shade of navy to avoid that "Is that a really dark blue or is that an off-black" navy with black look. Always remember that black really does go with everything!

Myth #2: A maximum of One denim piece is acceptable per look.
Welcome to 2010 people. If you look around at your fellow Stylista Fashionistas, I can guarantee you will see denim button up shirts paired with jeans in all parts of the city. The trick here is to have one piece darker than the other so to avoid appearing dressed in a head to toe denim hazzzze.

Myth #3: White should not be worn after Labour Day.
This one's easy. Have you ever heard of the popular fashion colour known as Winter White? (ie: on Winter peacoats, lined wool trousers, touque, angora scarf & glove sets galore etc.) Well, my friends, the Winter season definitely comes after Labour Day (Summer) which is essentially the antithesis to this proposterous myth in and of itself.

Myth #4: Socks with sandals is a Fashion No-No.
Aside from the currently in-style sandal heels with socks trend, I am here to officially announce that the pairing of any sort of sock with anything from a flip flop, crock, or hiking sandal - is an absolute blasphemy on the fashion world.

Verdict: True
...Consider yourselves busted, Myths!
