cross-promotion time!
Hi bitties. I have recently started a new blog which I am quite excited about. The blog is called so OUT its IN and is in the business of showcasing seemingly bad fashion choices which are actually amazing. This blog is for all of you who look at semi-bizzare fashion choices with a cup-half-full perspective - and I salute you for doing just that.
If you have yet to catch my drift on what you can expect from this new masterpiece, click on this link to have a glimpse into the hottest fashion trends of tomorrow. But remember to leave your pre-disposed judgements at the keyboard for no trend is truly ever too crazy to go mainstream...visible lip liner circa 1994 anyone?
Point made.

Side-Note
Ok. So you know how people always say that life is what happens when you're busy making others plans...well I am finally on board with ye old adage. On a personal note, I have been on the oh-so-fun job hunt since mid-February which can also be interpreted as I have very limited funds at the moment.
While counting my pennies and firing off CVs like its nobody's business, I have simultaneously found a new love: second-hand clothes. Call it what you wish - be it vintage, used goods, consignment, bargain shopping etc.- but at the end of the day, all of these titles simply euphemize the latency of the term second-hand. Embrace it, don't shake it. Ok that was retarded.
Moving on.
From the monthly $2 sale at Dress for Success to my favourite Value Village located in the West End - Toronto is truly a mecca for second-hand wonders. Click here for BlogTO's fabulous list of "The Best Vintage Clothing Stores in Toronto"....ahem second-hand.
The point is that while focusing heavily on what I don't have (a job, money) I have found a new passion for fashion to add to my Stylista Fashionista repertoire. Amen!

If you've ever seen a pic of Lauren Conrad and have thought to yourself: "I wish I could do my hair and makeup like her" - now is your chance. Our girl has officially launched her own beauty website for the everyday woman and all of her beauty advice and how-to needs. The site is co-written with her hair stylist and makeup artist in addition to LCeezy her self so you know its gonna be good.
Here's to hoping I can finally do my top eyeliner and loose curls like the guru herself!

Tik Tok: You Suck
Looks like our old pal Ke$ha "woke up in the morning feeling like"....a train wreck.
These pics are a horrible offense to the world of respectable swimwear. Word on the street is the bikini in exhibit A is actually a Mara Hoffman design - an unfortunate bout of bad press for Ms Hoffman's collection.

I'm not saying that only the anos out there should be allowed to sport a bikini - just please keep your figure somewhat in mind before the next time you goruining your public image bathing suit shopping.
It's a cruel world out there Keshy Kesh.

Marc Jacobs Throwback
We may not be in 2007 anymore (the year these spectacles first hit the runway) but I am still completely enamored with the Marc Jacobs Backward Heel. They are just so cool and inventive just like the man himself.
